When Disaster Strikes



It's official. The US government has taken over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. These companies, which were founded to "provide stability, liquidity, and affordability to the nation's housing finance system under all economic conditions", have failed in their efforts to do just that. With the housing market already in turmoil, this is sure to add fuel to the volcano. Maybe New Yorkers aren't that crazy with the renter's culture.
